Why open-source, now
The previous decade rewarded SaaS convenience. This decade rewards ownership. Three forces are driving the shift:
AI changed the cost curve
Deploying and operating complex software is dramatically cheaper than in 2015. The "managed service" premium is harder to justify when infrastructure-as-code and AI-assisted operations are table stakes.
Privacy regulation caught up
GDPR, CCPA, and their successors keep raising the bar. Treating customer data as someone else's server is increasingly untenable. Self-hosted analytics and CRM aren't fringe anymore.
Open-source tooling matured
Mautic, Matomo, SuiteCRM, n8n, Metabase — the ecosystem finally has production-ready alternatives for every layer of the martech stack. And they integrate better than the proprietary alternatives.
How we work

We're small by design. Every project gets engineers who've built and operated these systems at scale — not junior staff following a playbook.
The bigger picture
Two products are emerging from our consulting work — the Customer Dashboard and the Site Builder. Both are in active development with waitlists open. Neither replaces consulting; both make the ongoing operational layer self-serve for teams that want it.
